Shillong, November 27: The Congress party in Meghalaya will organize sit in demonstration tomorrow at Dhankheti Parking lot to protest against the demonetization announced by the prime minister of India Mr Narendra Modi on the 8th of this month.
Earlier the Congress party and their allied parties had threaten to call for the nation wide band or the Bharat band tomorrow but they have shifted to sit in demonstration to protest against the demonetization that was taken by the BJP Government at the Centre.
The Congress party who is ruling the state, along with the rest of the Congress party in the country will participate in this sit in demonstration that will be held at Dhankheti Parking lot sources said that the demonstration will kick start at 10.30 in the morning.
