Shillong, May 18: A two day, first ever National seminar on legal matters will be held in Shillong on the 20 and 21 at the SosoTham auditorium Shillong. The seminar was organized by the Bar Association of India in collaboration with the Meghalaya High Court Bar Association.
Speaking to media person the president of the Meghalaya High Court Bar Association MrG.S Massar said that they are expecting more than four hundred advocate both from the state and from others parts of the country they will participate in the seminar.
In these two day seminar the main speaker will be Ramjet Malini of the Supreme Court of India, he will address the gathering on the last day of the seminar but the option is open if he wish to address even on the first day of the seminar.
The president of the Association is very optimistic that this seminar will help a lot to the legal fraternity of the state, as lawyers they have to keep themselves abreast with the day-to-day that keeping on amending in the legal profession.
The publicity secretary advocate V.GKynta said that the registration for lawyers who want to participate in the seminars they can also register even on the last day.
