Tura, October 07: Two leaders of the Garo National Liberation army (GNLA) Mr Rupanto and Mr Rangdat today morning surrender before the superintendent of Police East Garo Hills District in Williamnagar along with arms and ammunition.
This two GNLA militant along with them they have surrender one 9mm pistol live ammunition and mobiles along with others items. These two militant surrender since the police operation has put pressure on the militant hideout.
Sources said that this two GNLA militans who surrender themselves before the SP of East Garo Hills District were suspected that they were on the camp where the encounter took place in East Garo Hills near Williamnagar where one militant shot death by the police.
The police also have identify their real name as Mr Zen Roberth CH Marak residence of Nengnandalgre and also know as Rupanto of East Garo Hills District and Armindro B Marak residence of Damal Asim also know as Rangdat from West Garo Hills District.
