Shillong, September 16: The Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma said that the two Independent MLAs from Garo Hills are indicating that they want to support his government, but he is yet to get the official communication from them.
The Chief Minister said that these two MLA are Saleng A Sangma of Gambegre, constituency and John Leslee K Sangma of South Tura Constituency. He said that he will only said yes only when he get the official communication from them.
With this indication that these two MLA are going to switch their side to the treasury bench the opposition in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will reduce to 14 from 16. And the ruling side it will be 46 from 44 members.
