Shillong, June 16: Two youths from Meghalaya have excelled in the All India Civil Service exam 2013 which has been declared recently.
Spencer Mervyn Mylliem son of Shri. W.M.S.Pariat, IAS, Chief Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya and Daniel Vincent Laitflang Stone son of Dr. Cecilia Laitflang, have passed the All India Civil Services Examination, 2013 conducted by the UPSC.
Spencer Mervyn Mylliem is a graduate in Computer Engineering from Pune and he has served with Infosys for a brief period whereas Daniel Vincent Laitflang Stone is a graduate from St. Anthony’s College, Shillong
Altogether, 1122 candidates have made it to the IAS exam 2013 and they have been recommended for appointment to the IAS, IFS, IPS and Central Services of Group “A” and Group “B”. said the official press statement.(SP News)
