Shillong, April 04: The Border Security Force in Meghalaya as a good will gesture handed over 01 Bangladeshi lady to Border Guard Bangladesh on International Border of East Khasi Hills who had inadvertently crossed the International Border and entered into Indian territory.
Troops of BSF BOP Umsyiem intercepted the lady while she was roaming near the International Border. The lady disclosed that she was not aware of the alignment of International Border as the border is zigzag and unfenced and she entered Indian Territory unintentionally.
The lady was identified as Maryam 55 resident of village- Kalmakanda, district- Mymensingh, Bangladesh. Border Guard Bangladesh praised good will gesture exhibited by BSF during the meeting in which the lady was handed over to them.
