Shillong, Dec 16: The District administration has made all out effort to retrieve the miners who were traps inside the coal mine at Lumthari in East Jiantia Hills District. Till today the rescued team is yet to rescue the 13 miners who were traps inside the coal mine.
Speaking to SP News Agency, the Superintendent of police of East Jaintia Hills District Mr Sylvester Nongtynger said that the effort are own but they are yet to locate the body of the miners who were traps inside the ill fed coal mine.
The superintendent of police said that till yesterday they have managed to locate only one helmet that was used by the coal miners. The rescue team is on the job to retrieve the miners who were trap inside the coal mines.
