The final electoral roll published today, Meghalaya have 1830104 lakh voters in MLA Election 2018

Shillong, January 10: The office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Meghalaya today has published the final electoral roll for the state of Meghalaya. The total voters in the state of Meghalaya are 1830104 lakh voters in the MLA election 2018.

The CEO of Meghalaya Mr Fredric Roy Kharkongor informs that, the total voters are 1830104 lakh, male voters are 906256 lakh and the female voters are 923848 lakh. This time female voters are more in Meghalaya.

The Election department has targeted to to reach 18 lakh voters where they have crossed the target. The CEO has director all District Election officers to prints the final electoral rolls and to circulate to all political parties.

In 2013 MLA Election in the state the numbers of voters are 1502509 lakh, there is an increased of 327595 lakh in this 2018 MLA election in terms of percentage there is an increased of 21.8%.

In this 2018 MLA Election the total numbers of polling station are 3082 and in 2013 MLA Election is 2485 polling station, there is an increased of 597 polling station in this coming MLA Election, in terms of percentage there is an increased of 24.02% in the polling station.
