The GHADC threaten to take legal action against the agitating employees

Shillong, Sept 28: The Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) said that in the emergency meeting, the executive committee has taken the decision that legal action will be taken if they did not comply with the order issued today.

In the order issued today, the order said that “in view of the indefinite non cooperation movement call by the NGEA, GHADC, despite repeated direction to resume their office duties, it is hereby inform to all agitating employees that the executive committee in an emergency meeting has decided that, last notice will be    issued to the agitating employees to resumed their duties with effect from 01.10.2018 onwards”.

The order also mention that, the members of the executive body of NGEA will be terminated from their council service if they fail to comply with the notice. On termination of the executive body, the NGEA will automatically stand disloved.

In the order issued today 28th September 2018 wide letter No.GHADC-GAD/NC/532/2014/943-951 clearly mention that,  “The legal course of action will be taken if the non cooperation movement continues even after the dissolution of the executive body of the NGEA” and legal action will be also taken against the agitating employees if they continued with the agitation despite the notice.

In the order issued mention that, all agitating employees are herby directed to immediately resume to their respective office duties failing which the above mention action will be taken against them. The order was sign by the Secretary to the Executive Committee of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council.

When SP News Agency try to contact the Chief Executive Member of the GHADC Mr Dipul R Mark to get his comment but could not get in touched with him.
