Shillong, Nov 01: There is a rumour circulating in social media that one person who was assaulted in the rally organised by the FKJGP on the 28th October, 2022, has succumbed to his injuries.
The Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills District informed that this is not a fact; the three persons who received simple injury on that day were released after first aid and alive.
In view of the above, people circulating such rumours are hereby warned and public are requested not to believe such false information, said Mr. S.Nongtnger, IPS, Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills, Shillong.
