Shillong, Nov 13: Today morning at around 8.30 am the police of East Garo Hills have received the information that one Mr Tapos Maji 37 years from Krishnai of Goalpara District a Ginger trader was kidnapped by miscreants from Bansam Awe while he was on the way to Rongsak.
The miscreants were around five to six in numbers all were covering their face; only one person has a pistol. The location where the kidnaper is from Bansam Awe while he was on the way yo Rongsak,under Chiading police Station.
After getting the information the police rushed to the area and search operation to rescue the traders from the hand of the kidnapers.
