Shillong, Apr 30, 2014: In the month of February 2014, Asian Paints launched a display scheme for his dealers in Shillong with a concept of bringing awareness in the market under the theme “Colors of Shillong.”
1997 Miss World Mrs Daina Hayden graced the occasion as the judge for the same meanwhile a consumer contest was also organized called ‘Meet the Star’ where 20 lucky winners will get chance to meet Mrs Daina.
Diana Hayden is a beauty pageant title holder from India. She won the Femina Miss India contest in 1997 and was crowned Miss World 1997 at the age of 24 years.
However five shops qualified in the final round namely Kedarmull Bimal Kumar, Luckier Road, shillong, Java Hardware Laitumkhrah Shillong, Star Steel Kenche’s trace shillong, D B Enterprises, Polo Shillong, Maruti Hardware, near Anjalee Shillong.
Mrs Daina Hayden visited these shops while in the evening a gala night was held at hotel Polo Towers wherein the winners were announced.
Kedarmull Bimal kumar won the first prize for the volume display of the products and Java Hardware & Kedarmull Bimal Kumar won the first prize for the display concept.
The gala night started with cultural program attended by the dealers and the 20 lucky winners from different races.(SP News)
