Shillong, July 25; The MP from Tura Mr Conrad K Sangma today let a delegation including the MP From Shillong Mr Vincent H Pala, the CEM of the KHADC Mr PN Syiem to the Meeting with National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDC) Limited. At the National Capital.
The NHIDC Limited was set up by NDA -2 Government under the leadership of Mr Narendra Modi to take up infrastructure projects in North East Region.
In the meeting with the NHIDC limited the MP from Tura has taken up with the corporation on the NH 51 – Tura to Dalu including Tura By pass. The detail project report completed awaiting Social Impact Assessment from DC. The MP from Tura asked to start the work soon as the total cost of the project is Rs. 250 cores.
The others project that is the NH-61 which will go upto Dalu via Baghmara and Siju the detail project report were being prepared at the total cost of Rs. 950 core and the road from Baghmara to Ranikor via Mahadeo and Maheshkola over 129 km, costing 1200 cores at advanced stage, all this project are awaiting forest clearance, work to commence soon.
