Maligaon, Feb 11: In view of continuous upgradation of infrastructure, the timings of some mail express trains have been revised at few stations over N.F. Railway.
The trains including 15602/15601 (Guwahati – Dhubri – Guwahati) Express, 15078 (Gomti Nagar – Kamakhya) Express and 15661 (Ranchi – Kamakhya) Express have been speeded up to reduce the journey time. Under the jurisdiction of N.F. Railway, journey times of these trains have been reduced from 20 minutes to over an hour.
Accordingly, timings of train No. 15602/15601 (Guwahati – Dhubri – Guwahati) Express have been revised at Guwahati, Kamakhya, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, Fakiragram Jn., Sapatgram, Tipkai, Monglajhora, Basbari, Moterjhar, Golakganj, Gauripur and Dhubri stations w.e.f. 28.02.2023.
The train No. 15602 (Guwahati – Dhubri) Express will depart from Guwahati at 22:50 hours reducing its journey time by 65 minutes. Subsequently, train No. 15601 (Dhubri – Guwahati) Express will depart from Dhubri at 07:00 hours, instead of 07:10 hours to arrive Guwahati at 14:50 hours reducing its journey time by 40 minutes.
Moreover, timings of Train No. 15078 (Gomti Nagar – Kamakhya) Express have been revised at New Bongaigaon, Goalpara Town and Kamakhya stations w.e.f. 27.02.2023. The train will arrive at destination Kamakhya at 13:50 hours to save its journey time by 40 minutes.
Timing of train No. 15661 (Ranchi – Kamakhya) Express has been revised at Kamakhya station w.e.f. 01.03.2023. The train will arrive at destination Kamakhya at 23:05 hours saving its journey time by 20 minutes.
It is expected that the revised timings will help in better train operations over N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details of train running status and schedule on real time basis at National Train Enquiry System (NTES) before undertaking their journey.
