Shillong, March 25: A CME on “Abnormal Uterine Bleeding, A peep into the future” was organized by FOGSI Endocrinology Committee under the leadership of Dr. Ananya Das, Additional Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
NEIGRIHMS, Shillong, and the East Zone Coordinator of the Committee, in collaboration with Shillong Obstetrics and Gynecology Society at the State Convention Centre, Shillong on 23rd March 2024.
Eminent national as well as local experts served as resource persons and shared their experiences and knowledge. The meeting was attended by over 50 delegates including Prof. Santa Singh, Dean, NEIGRIHMS and senior gynecologists from Shillong and Guwahati.
The Guest of Honour for the function was Dr. Wanswet, Retd. DHS, Government of Meghalaya. The Chief Guest for the function was Prof. (Dr.) Nalin Mehta, Director, NEIGRIHMS who was highly appreciative of the event and in his address.
In his address stated that even though abnormal uterine bleeding concerns women, it consequently affects the entire family. Therefore, updating our knowledge for better care of our women is very much the need of the hour.
