Tinsukia, March 13: The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and Ayush, Sarbananda Sonowal addressed four public meetings at Tinsukia, Margherita & Digboi during the day.
There was an energetic participation by party workers of BJP and AGP when the senior party leader, Sarbananda Sonowal, sought active support to continue the good governance of the Modi government.
Speaking on the occasion, the Lok Sabha candidate of BJP for Dibrugarh, Sarbananda Sonowal, said, Akow Ebar, Modi Sarkar’ is our promise. To achieve this, we must elect and send maximum MPs from Assam.
Today, thanks to the efforts undertaken by the Modi Government, the people of the country has an opportunity to live with dignity because of the ‘Modi Ki Guarantee.

The vision of Modi ji to build ‘Viksti Bharat’ must be realised by electing BJP back to the government with a thumping mandate so that the good work on building the new India continues. The people of Assam have also received the fruits of a welfare government, unlike the dark age of Congress government which was marred with corruption, violence, inefficiency and lack of commitment to nation-building.
These evils turned on its head as Narendra Modi ji worked tirelessly to revamp and revive the glory of Assam and the Northeast. In addition, Sarbananda Sonowal further said, “Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency has a glorious history. This constituency was able to identify itself as an economic focal point during British rule. We all have to work together to repeat this history of a strong economy. We must unite and show the strength of the BJP allies in this election.”
Sarbananda Sonowal also attended the meeting of Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) in the Tinsukia assembly constituency and interacted with the party workers. Sonowal also expected the AGP to play an active role in the NDA crossing the 400-seat mark in this Lok Sabha election and said that the NDA’s a smooth and decisive victory.
The Union minister and senior BJP leader was accompanied by Tinsukia Assembly constituency MLA Sanjay Kishan, Margherita Assembly constituency MLA Bhaskar Sharma, Digboi Assembly constituency MLA Suren Phukan, BJP-AGP office-bearers, leaders and workers at various levels and local people.
