Shillong. June 14:The Bansara Eye Care Centre, Shillong in collaboration with the World Diabetes Foundation, Denmark will be organising a symposium entitled “ The Role of media and civil societies in the management of Diabetes and Diabetic Retinopathy” on the 15th June 2016 at the Conference Hall of the Bansara Eye Care Centre, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
The symposium is aimed at addressing the issue of Diabetes and Diabetic Retinopathy with the media, heads of various social welfare groups, representatives from local NGOs as well as representatives from the Health Department, Government of Meghalaya. The symposium is being organised to ensure that all concerned could realise the importance of understanding this issue and to raise awareness on Diabetes and the various problems associated with it.
