Shillong, October 10: A self-style surgeon of the Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) Mr Anjan Ch Momin today surrender himself before the police of East Garo Hills District along with arms and amunation.
The Superintendent of Police East Garo Hills District told SP News Agency that Mr Anjan a senior member in the outfit surrender himself before the police of East Garo Hills District, he is commonly known by the name Jimmy in the militant circle.
Mr Anjan while surrendering himself before the police, he also deposited one AK-47 riffle, 86 numbers of live ammunitions, one walky-talky and mobiles. With his surrender, it has been a big blow to the GNLA militant group.
Mr Anjan is a residence of Boldingre village of East Garo Hills District, he was 32 years of age, he has joint the GNLA militant Group since the formation of this militant outfits.
Recently a Deputy Commander In Chief of the GNLA Mr Zen Roberth CH Marak surrenders himself before the police along with his security.
