Shillong, Aug 14: During last two week, BSF troops apprehended two Indian GNLA linkmen, two Indian and one Bangladeshi smugglers, two Indian and two Bangladeshi Nationals(Illegal migrant)on Meghalaya border with Bangladesh, also seized 844.187Cft Wooden log, 749Btls Liquor, 30Nos Cattle heads, 10 Btls Phensydle, one motorcycle and other contraband items worth value over 27Lacs while being smuggled out from India to Bangladesh.
Apprehended person and seized items have been handed over to concerned department for further disposal and legal action as per law of the land.(SP News)
