Shillong, Aug 14: The band out fit the HNLC has call for the 48 hours band from 6.00 pm from Wednesday. Today the capital Shillong look quit except people who are going to their offices and few private car and government ruh buses are running in the street.
In the day one of the band commercial establishedment are closed down in the city few people are moving around, bank and others financial institution are closing down. Govt officer were affected.
Till filling of these report no untoward incident were reported from any were in the khasi hills region, police forces were in high alert to see that normalcy maintain in the state. The police were doing their patrolling round the clock.(SP News)
