Shillong, August 29: The District magistrate based on the contact tracing status and testing of the high risk contacts has lifted areas from the containment areas from different location in Shillong City.
The District Magistrate has lifted the building of Mrs. B.M Kurbah at Rilbong in an order issued has lifted the containment for the shops that are located in the building of Mrs. B. M. Kurbah with effect from 28th August, 2020.
The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in an order issued has lifted the containment for the house of Mr. Hrishikesh Chakraborty, Burnside compound, near Sankardev Girls Hostel, Rilbong with effect from 28th August, 2020.
The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in an order issued on 28th August, 2020 has lifted the containment for the house of Nud Syiemiong, Pynthorbah Block – II with effect from 28th August, 2020.
The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in an order issued on 28th August, 2020 has lifted the containment for the house of Maya Kaur and house of Janki Kaur in Plot-1 Block A at Sweeper Colony, Mawlonghat with effect from 28th August, 2020.
However, the Nepali Compound, Rilbong from the house of Smti Roma Devkota, Mira Store upto the house of Smti Sushma Talukdar and further down upto the river Umjasai and Mantra Building opposite the Puja Mandap are still retained as containment areas.
However, the house of Baldeep Singh in Plot – 1 Block A at Sweeper Colony, Mawlonghat is still retained as containment area.
