Shillong, July 14: Shillong is about to witness the NADI2016 to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mukul Sangma on the 15th of July, 2016. The Festival, besides having technical sessions by eminent and distinguished panelists and speakers in the State Convention Centre, will also have two Cultural Evenings on the 15th and 16th of July, at the Aurobindo Institute of Culture, Bivar Road.
Top speakers include the Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister of Bangladesh, Foreign Minister of State, Bangladesh, High Commissioners of India and Bangladesh, Union Minister Suresh Prabhu, former ambassador of Bhutan, policymakers from Nepal and Myanmar.
The Cultural Evening will be a treat for Cultural Enthusiasts with performances by troupes from Bangladesh, the North East and Meghalaya. Some of the Highlight of the evenings are Project 21 a Bangladeshi Band performing Bangla Jazz-Fusion, Nitroshoily Dance Troupe, and Cultural Dances from NEZCC, Geetanjali Dance Academy, Manipuri and cultural dances from the Meghalaya.
