Shillong, November 07: The Superintendent of Police East Khasi Hills District inform the general public that in view of ‘The Chief Minister’s Open Golf tournament’ to be held at Golf flink, Shillong with effect from 9th to the 13th November 2016 entry of vehicles towards Golf flink is restricted from 5 am to 5 pm.
The new arrangement is, that no entry is placed on the following junction ,From Mawroh Tri junction towards Golf Link and from Golf Link Tri Junction ahead of Golf Club towards PTS toMawroh, From Bhaiti Junction near Tiara Restaurant towards Lumshyiap and from Chandmari junction to/Lumshyiap towards Bhaiti Junction near Tiara Restaurant and from Tea Pot towards Golf Club.
It was also said that the diversion of Vehicles will be, that all Vehicles coming from Mawroh via Chandmari Junction and wanting to proceed to Polo will be diverted to Pynthorumkhrah via Langkyrding and Vehicles coming from Lumshyiap and Langkyrding and wanting to proceed to Polo will be diverted to Pynthorumkhrah via Langkyrding A.
All vehicles from MPRO Quarter will be diverted towards PTS-Mawroh Junction to the FCI route. Vehicles coming from Golf Club and wanting to proceed to Lumshyiap will be diverted towards Bhaiti Junction. And no vehicles will be allowed to park all along the periphery of the Golf Course. Public are requested to cooperate with Shillong Traffic Police, said the press statement.
