Shillong, November 05: On the eve of the by Election to the seven MDC constituencies one in the JHADC and six in the KHADC, the BJP party today get ia big bosst when five MDC are joining the party and one Ex-MDC , where the general Secretary of the party incharge Meghalaya Mr Nalin S. Kohli welcome them into the party.
The Four MDC from Garo Hills Autonomous District Council who were joining the party today three are independent MDC Mr Isamail Marak , Mr Khorus Marak, and Mr Saful Rehman and Mr R Sangma is of the NCP who joint the BJP. The BJP is working together in the GHADC let by the NPP in the executive committee.
From the KHADC, Mr Neil Antonio War the Exectuive Member in the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council, who resign from the Congress party also joint today into the BJP party. This is the first time in the political history of the BJP in Meghalaya that they are having MDC in all the three autonomous Council in the state. One in JHADC who left the UDP party.
Speaking to media person after the function is over Mr War said that his joining the BJP will strengthen the Executive Committee in the KHADC let by Mr PN Syiem who was suspended from the Congress party, which led to the resignation of five MDCs from the Congress party.
