Maj Gen Raju Chauhan , additional Director General , NCC , NE Region(Meghalya) visited Aizwal from 30 May to 02 Jun. The Gen Offr along with Minister of Sports and youth Services chaired a State Advisory Committee Meeting and reviewed the NCC activities in the state. Various issues like setting up new Bn of NCC at Lunglie , installation of Flying Simulator and setting of NCC academy were discussed.
Gen Chauhan also interacted with Shri Lal Thanwal , Hon’ble Chief Minister of Mizoram and upraised him of issues pertaining to NCC and planned expansion of NCC in state. Chief Minister aslo handed over two new light vehicles to NCC for utilizing in training activities.
ADG was accompanied by Brigadier SK Dey , Gp Cdr , NCC Gp Silchar and other Commandind officers of NCC Battalions of Mizoram.
