Shillong, June 23: The Indian Air Force will hold a recruitment rally for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) trades at 11 Airmen Selection Centre, VIP Chowk, Borjhar, Guwahati (Assam) from 13 to 17 July 2014.
Candidate who are eligible unmarried male candidates of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura. The education qualifications are the candidates must have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream and subjects approved by State Education Boards with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English or passed two year Vocational Course affiliated and recognised by CBSE or State Education Boards or Councils duly recognised at par with 10+2 by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate and Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
The candidates should have been born between November 1, 1994 to November 30, 1997 (Both days inclusive). A written test will be held on 13 July 2014. The candidates will have to appear for, besides the written test, a Physical Fitness test and Medical Examination. Candidates will have to furnish the necessary marksheets, certificates, photographs etc. for appearing in the recruitment rally.
