Shillong, November 07: KHNAM State Youth Wing one of the political party of Meghalaya opposed to the proposed of the BJP government at the centre to observed National Good Governance Day on the 25th December as it coincide with the Christmas Day.
The president of the KHNAM youth wing Mr Thomas Passah in the press statement issued today to media houses alleged that the BJP has no respect to the religious minority inthis country, this show that the BJP has closed relationship with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
The president of the Youth Wing, KHNAM asked the BJP government at the centre why not observed the ‘Good governance day’ on the day where Holi is celebrated or in others where Puja is celebrated why chose 25th December the Chirsitmas Day he question.
The KHNAM leader claim that from the calendar of 2016 brought out by the CBSE has clearly indicated that 25th December will be observed Good Governance Day, this will clearly indicate that all school, colleges and offices will remain open on that day.
From the KHNAM youth wing urged all school and colleges, state government to oppose to this proposal of the BJP Government to observed Good Governance Day on the 25th December.
