Shillong, November 22: The Lotus today bloom in Meghalaya, with the joining of the former minister5 John Antony Lyngdoh to the BJP at the ceremony held in the Assembly Hotel Shillong where hundreds of his followers, from Shillong North embrace the party.
The former leader of the UDP, and three times MLA from Nongspung Constituency, in his maiden address as the BJP members he said that, he has never lost the election from the Nongspung Constituency, but he lost in the last LA Election from the new constituency after the delimitation.
He (JA LYngdoh) express that he has felt in love with the BJP since 2001 when Atal Behari Vajpayee was the prime minister of India, when he crated the DoNER ministry for the development of North Eastern Region, and he was more impress with the word from the present prime minister Narendra Modi when he utter this word “Constitution is the holy book for India”.
The former minister assured that he will always work under the leadership of the state president Mr Shibun Lyngdoh and the party. Today along with him hundreds of his supporter from the Shillong North Constituency joints the BJP party.
