Shillong, November 05: A driver of a Maruti Alto car drove over the road divider when he lost control of the vehicle on a turning and collided with a motorbike. The driver of the Maruti Alto, Rohan Yumlenban 22 yearsmale and the motorist, Anup Paul 37 years male sustained injuries when the collision happened. The Maruti Alto was heading towards Guwahati from Shillong while the motorbike was proceeding towards Nongpoh when the incident happened at 19th Mile under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District on the 4th of November, 2016 at 7:17 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Byrnihat helped in shifting Rohan Yumlenban and Anup Paul to Nongpoh Civil Hospital. Anup Paul was later shifted to GNRC in Guwahati, Assam.
A Mahindra Bolero travelling towards Shillong from Mairang collided into a truck from behind on a turning at Walulu under Mairang Block, West Khasi Hills District. Two occupant of the vehicle sustained injuries when the collision happened on the 4th of November, 2016 at 5:29 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Mairang helped in shifting Shemphang Kharlyngdoh (35years/male) and Devonstar Syiemlieh 36years/male) to Tirot Singh Memorial Hospital, Mairang and then to NEIGRIHMS, Shillong.
