Shillong, March 10: The Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills District Mr. Rituraj Ravi said that the Meghalaya Police will rewards one lakh who can provide information that will let to the arrest of a person on the person on the bomb blast that occurred on 9/2/2024 at Punjabi Lane, Mawlonghat.
On 09h March 2024, at around 10:30 PM, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detonated at Syndicate Bus Stand, Punjabi Lane, Mawlonghat. One person received injurics as aresult of the blast.
This heinous act constitutes a terrorist act punishable under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Explosive Substances Act, and the individuals responsible for the blasthave committed a grave offence tantamount to waging war against the State.
Any person providing credible and substantial information leading to arrest of any person involved in this crime will be rewarded 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh) in Cash.
