Jowai, August 13: Come August 15th, the District Administration will be celebrating the Independence Day in a grand manner.
Ceremonial parade of more than 25 schools and colleges,16 cultural items, slow cycle race, slow motorbike race, ding kum flying, prize distribution of various competitions, food festival, felicitation of some hardworking VECs, final football match of Under 16 and many more.
The Deputy Chief Minister and local MLA Prof RC Laloo will be the chief guest during the celebration. We have sent hundreds of invitation to all. It is not possible to give an invitation card to everyone. So please treat this as a personal invitation from our side and join us in the celebration.
