Shillong, August 06: Today at around 1.30 pm, one Shri Savio Maring 21 yrs while trekking along with his friends, fell into a river at Mawbeh, Sohrarim under Sohra Police station of East KHasi HIlls District and got drowned. Cadaver was fished out and necessary formalities were observed.
In anthers incident at around 9.30 am, one Nathan N Ralte consumed Heroin in his residence at Nongrim Hills, Laitumkhrah, Shillong and was removed to Bethany Hospital, Shillong for treatment.
