Shillong, July 11: A number of burglary cases was reported in Laitumkhrah area and Police of Laitumkhrah Police Station studied the modus operandi of the various cases and narrowed down on one Mr Ricky Swer, age 29 years.
He was picked up and he admitted to the various burglary cases. He led Police to the recovery of a number of stolen property. The stolen items were also recovered from the possession of receivers of stolen property.The above receivers of stolen property were also arrested.
The police have recover, three LCD TV, five Laptop, one mobile set and one Leather Jacket. Ricky Swer was arrested earlier for a number of burglary cases.
Police advices the citizens not to buy articles offered for sale at a throw away price as it may be a stolen article.
