Shillong, November 19: The police of Chokpot police station of South Garo Hills District on Friday night apprehended two people namely Tilseng G Momin, 29 years and Raknash N Marak, 26 years, residence of Rongrikkimgre.
From this two people the police had recovered 1 Local- made Rifle, 1 live ammunition, 4 empty cartridges, 1 Air pistol, 2 camouflage pants and 1 black six pocket pant from their posession. The case has been register with the Chokpot police station under arms Act.
The police has investigated to find out whether this people had got any connection with the militants outfit like the ASAK or the GNLA.
