Shillong, June 22: The police is very much concerned with the rising cases of pick pocketing in Police Bazar area, Sadar Police Station had been placing plain clothes police to prevent the crime.
On 20th June 2016, the Special Team put a suspicious person under surveillance and later picked him up. From his possession an Apple iPhone 5s was recovered which he managed to pick pocket from a lady.
When the police contacted the lady she was not aware that her mobile phone has been stolen as the criminal act was carried out with precision. The accused has been identified as Mr Agirole Marwein, 20 years son of Md. Fitu of Mawkriah, Mawphlang. who had three other cases against him earlier.
