Shillong, June 28: Regarding recovery of dead body of a new born baby from Upper New Colony, Laitumkhrah, Shillong. In this connection, Police arrested the mother of the baby viz., Smt. Lydia Mawrie (26 yrs). Later, she was admitted at Ganesh Das Hospital, Shillong.
In another incident today at about 1.45 pm, one Tata Sumo (ML-04B-6053) driven by Stadbha Mynsong knocked down one minor girl viz., Rimaya Pyrtuh (2 yrs 10 months) at Pomlahier under East Khasi Hills District . The Victim sustained injuries and was shifted to PHC Mawryngkneng and later referred to Civil Hospital Shillong Shillong for treatment.(SP News)
