Shillong, June 03: Due to the rise in vehicle theft from Shillong City nakas have been put up in several places. On 3rd June, 2014 @ 2.30 Am one Bolero MN-01-W-8928 which was coming from Shillong turned back and sped away on seeing the police on checking duty at Sohryngkham.
The Police chased the said Bolero and later found it abandoned at Sohryngkham Neng. During enquiry it was learnt that the said Bolero belongs to Shri H.D.Breezelove of Demthing which was stolen by unknown miscreants. A case vide Madanrting PS Case No. 33(6)14 U/S 379 IPC has been registered.(SP News)
