School Children from Bangladesh visited Don Bosco Museum at Mawlai

Shillong, October 06: The school children from Bangladesh visited Meghalaya from 2nd to 5th Oct’2016. During their tour the students visited Living Root Bridge at Riwai, Mawlynnong, Umiam Lake, places of tourists interest in Cherrapunjee, Mawphlang, Don Bosco Museum and Shillong city.

The students from Bangladesh during the visit were mesmerised by the splendid beauty, cool, calm and soothing beauty of Meghalaya. The children were very impressed by the cleanliness of the state and civic sense of the people.

They also visited Don Bosco Museum where they got the opportunity to vividly picture out the North East State and their people. The outing programme organised at Umiam Lake thrilled the students. Visiting police Bazar in the heart of Shillong city, the students interacted and experienced gentleness and friendliness of the local people.

Such programme of students interaction organised by the BSF will go a long way in further building up the cordial relationship between the two friendly countries.
