Shillong, March 07: “Doctors for You” with the support of “Standard Chartered” donate Microscope and refrigerator to National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) Meghalaya.
Today, the 7 th March 2022, representative from “Doctors for You” with the support of “Standard Chartered” has donated 20 numbers of Microscopes and 16 numbers of refrigerators to National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme, Meghalaya.
“Doctors for you” is a nonprofit organization founded by a group of Doctors, medical students and like-minded people in 2007 with a vision of “Health for All”. At present Doctors for you is focusing on Disaster management and strengthening health system covering about 23 states in India and Meghalaya is one of those.
These materials are being handed over to Dr. M. Mawrie, State Tuberculosis Officer Meghalaya who applauded for their continuous support to the programme. He also stated that such support from NGOs will help the programme, especially when we are going for TB elimination by 2025.
