The BSF distributed study material under “pre-recruitment training for border youth”

Shillong, Feb 03: Taking another initiative to help our border residing population, Border Security Force, Frontier Meghalaya organized a Civic Action Programme on 2nd Feb’ 2022 at the bordering area of East Khasi Hills District.

Mr.  Sandeep Rawat, DIG SHQ Jowai as Chief Guest inaugurated a Football match between young blood sports club Shella and Nonglait kyrdoh sports club Ryngku . winner up and runner up trophy was given by Mr. Sandeep Rawat, DIG SHQ Jowai.

Besides conducting football match, various items such as football kit, cricket kit, others sports items were distributed to the schools and clubs of Border Belt. In addition, study material under “pre-recruitment training for Border youth” was also distributed.

This programme was attended by approx. 150 villagres alongwith village head and other officials of BSF and Civil administration. The villagers expressed their happiness and appreciated Border Security Force for organizing colourful event and helping them.
