Shillong, March 16: The Border Security Force apart from serving the nation on International Borders, took the initiative of assisting the border area population through Civic Action Programme by providing training to youth and needful items to needy villagers for their livelihood.
In one of such Civic Action Programme, 43 Bn BSF on 16th March 2022 organized closing ceremony of 15 days pre-recruitment training program which commenced on 02nd March 2022 for border youth under the supervision of Sh Ratikant Thakur, Commandant 43 Bn BSF.
The purpose of training programme was to aware the youth about pre-requisites of becoming a part of security forces. Study material required to crack the exam were also distributed during the event.
Youth were also acquainted with the physical and medical standards to be fulfilled. Sense of discipline and patriotism were inculcated among youth during the training programme. On completion of training programme all the participants were given certificate by BSF Official.
After successful completion of training, study material kit, white boards, chairs, Fans and sports items were distributed to Bordering schools. All villagers, teachers and students expressed their happiness and gratitude on friendly gesture exhibited by BSF.
