Tura, July 13: After a two days Office picketing held on 12th and 13th July at PWD Department in the entire South Garo Hills District by GSU Southern Zone. There are no response from the Concern department, District Administration and the Government side.
Despite knowing the worst conditions of Roads, it is a complete negligence and the discrimination which is very injustice and unfair term the GSU of Southern zone.However, the GSU Southern Zone will decide the future course of agitation and will resume it very soon.
As for the NH Division Baghmara, the Concern department has not yet initiate the repairing of Roads in spite of assurance has already given last couple of months. The conditions of Roads are worst and don’t fit to be called National Highway anymore. Even Baghmara Main Town is neglected. Thus the Concern department and the State Government are very much condemnable, said Mr Chuba R Marak president of the GSU Southern Zone in the press statement.
