The hunger strike of the AMMPWA continued, two people shifted to civil Hospital Shillong

Shillong, August 03: The Hunger strike call by the All Meghalaya Malaria Programme Workers Association (AMMPWA) enter the second day today and two people has been shited to civil Hospital Shillong due to their weakness, sai Mr Allan Kharbani Genenral Secretary of the Association.

Speaking to SP News Agency  Mr Kharbani said that they will continued with tier agitation till tomorrow  and if the government  refused to take any step to fulfill to their demand they will further agitate by call the indefinite   hunger strike.

When asked whether any official communication  from the government was sent on the demand made by the organization, Mr Kharbani said that till today evening no words has come from the state government , the General secretary slam the indifferent attitude of the state government.
