Shillong, April 19: The JACATAM teacher’s organization me the Cabinet Secretary Smti R V Suchiang in charge finance. In the meeting they have asked the cabinet secretary to speed up mater related with the enhancement of 100 PC hike in their salary.
Prior meeting the cabinet secretary JACATAM met the Commissioner and secretary of Education Mr DP Wahlang, in the meeting the commissioner and secretary inform the JACATAM that he has discussed the issue with the HRD Minister of the Union Government, he has also brief the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma.
The Commissioner and Secretary Education inform the JACATAM that from the Chief Minister has instructed to do the needful on enhancing of the salary of the Adhoc School teachers are concern. After meeting the top government official the JACATAM decided to call off their agitation programme and it will be announced in due course.
From the organization they want to meet the Chief Minister of the Education minister to discussed at their level on their demanded on their hike in their salary for the adhoc school teachers. The JACATAM will announced their agitation if their demand is not met by the government.
