Shillong, Jan 13: The Meghalaya State BJP submitted memorandum to the prime minister Mr Narendra Modi during the BJP National Convention held at Ram Lila Maidan in New Delhi.
The memorandum was submitted by two BJP MLA, Mr Sanbor Shullai and Mr A.L Hek who attended the National Convention and handed over memorandum to the Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi along with the state BJP president Mr Shibun Lyngdoh opposing citizenship amendment bill 2016.
The Meghalaya state BJP also forwarded the same memorandum that they have submit to the Prime minister to the Chief Minister of Meghalaya. The BJP Meghalaya state Unit was the first unit from among the BJP state Unit from North East to opposed the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.
