Tura, January 05: Continuing their demands to expose the truth behind demonetization, Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress (MPYC) burnt effigies of Narendra Modi, Arun Jaitley, Amit Shah and Nalin Kohli in front of the BJP office at Danakgre, Tura, SBI Araimile Branch, SBI Chandmary, SBI Main Branch, Tura, SBI Dobasipara Branch, SBI Evening Branch, Tura, and several other places in Meghalaya.
The protest was led by MPYC President Mr. Richard Marak. “Modi had asked the citizen of the nation to bear with him for fifty days or he would face any punishment given by the citizen of the nation. His fifty days are up and the citizen of the nation are still facing the hardships due to demonetization.
Mr. Richard Marak said the “ We are calling his bluff and demand that he stick to his Word and face the nation or will he make a complete turnaround. From past record he is a man who does not value his own words and is known to make outrageous false promises for publicity.”
