Tura, September 10: The Secretary of the Executive committee of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council has issued a circular on the 9th September 2016 asking all the employees of the GHADC to resume their duties with immediate effect.
The circular issued read as” It hear by inform to all employees of the GHADC that most of the department and Branches have not yet complete the preparation for the pay bills of the month of August and even for the month of July 2016.
As a result of which the concern bills assistants and the UDAs of the various department and branches will get huge problems and pressures from the colleague staff when the payment of salary made as assured by the authority of the GHADC.
More over for the payment of the part kist money of haat lessees was fix for the 30th September 2016, and some money were received in the revenue department and now this receipts from land revenue and revenue from taxation department , are also being stop due to the agitation.
Further elderly people are coming from distance palaces for their needs in the GHADC, they are facing inconveniences because of the agitation. We should also see the problems while rendering services to the people of Garo Hills”.
In view of the above the Executive committee requested all the employees of the GHADC to resumed their duties with immediate effect. For the interest of the employees and the people of Garo Hills in particular, this circular was issued by the secretary of the executive committee of the GHADC.
