Shillong, September 14: The Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Mr AT Mondal today admits the no confidence motion move by the opposition against the Government led by Dr Mukul Sangma.
The speaker has fixed the date for the discussion on the no confidence motion that will be taken up tomorrow after twelve.
The speaker announced that all business listed for tomorrow that is to be taken up after twelve’s will be suspended. The MLA from the HSPDP Mr Ardent Basaiawmoint wills initiates the discussion.
The members of the opposition who rise on the seat to support the no confidence motion are 14 in numbers including the three movers of the motion, Mr Ardent Basaiawmoit HSPDP, Dr Jemino Mawthoh UDP and James K Sangma NPP.
