Shillong, November 13: The demonitisation of Narendra Modi Government has clip the wing of the militants operating in Garo Hills, in Meghalaya, where one senior GNLA leader surrender to the police and twa of his followers today at Williamnagar.
The surrender GNLA militant were identified as Salman M Sangma, 23 years, Polning M Sangma 23 years, this two joint the GNLA in the year 2011 they are from Nengmandalgre Village and Andresh T Sangma who joint the GNLA in 2014 from Nengsang village, all are from East Garo Hills District.
The surrender militants deposited with the police one AK-47 riffle, three Magazine and 120 live ammunition. The militant who are in the hideout are facing essential commodities problems and financial crouched.
The police of the East Garo Hills also arrested three UALA members, the police said that Norrok group sold their weapons to Niampa, the members of the GNLA where he was arrested by the police and base on his confession which led to the arrest Krejing Marak, Dipendro Momin and Lakmen Sangma from the the police have recovered Rs.1.50 lakh Indian Currency note.
