To check paid news MCMC was formed

Shillong, May 04: With a view to check the paid news, political advertisements and media related issues in connection with the bye-election to 2-Tura (ST) Parliamentary constituency, Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC), had been formed in East Garo Hills with the District Election Officer (DEO), Shri C.V.D. Diengdoh as  Chairman, Additional Deputy Commissioner, P.M. Sangma, Headmistress of  Educere Secondary School, Smti G.T.R. Marak and District Public Relations Officer (DPRO), Shri W.G. Momin as members.
